What is covered on the base “Burglary & Robbery Policy”?

The policy is designed to address the most important needs of the retail jeweler. Namely that should the inventory in the safe be stolen when closed, or an armed attack during working hours occurs, the business will be reimbursed for the loss and able to resume their business.

What if I need other coverage like shipping for FedEx, travel, Employee dishonesty etc.?

We can offer those coverages for additional premium for those who qualify. See section: “Optional Coverages” for more information.

What carrier insures my store and what is their rating?

We currently have 7 carriers that we can offer to match your needs. Our Burglary & Robbery policy is written by a world wide leader in jewelry insurance with an outstanding A++ AM Best rating. All of our carriers carry an A to A++ rating by AM Best.

Who do I contact for a claim if one occurs?

Please contact our office at 833-XXX-XXXX or your insurance company’s claims number that can be found on the front page of your policy. If you have our XXXXXXXX safe alarm installed, we will automatically be notified of a breach of your security involving the safe.

Why don’t you cover other losses like diversion, grab & run, sneak theft, ee dishonesty?

In order to keep this program as affordable as possible, we need to limit losses to those that cannot be prevented. Most other losses can be prevented with proper equipment, processes and awareness. See our “Crime Alert “ page for more information.

What about my business property or liability insurance needs? Can you cover those?

Yes, we offer Commercial General Liability, Property, Businessowners policy anywhere in the U.S.

Do you insure wholesalers or manufacturers of jewelry?

Yes, we can but the Burglary & Robbery program is specifically built for The Retail Jeweler.
